Crispy German Potato Pancakes – Grandpa’s Classic Favorite

Peel and finely grate the potatoes and onion. Place in a bowl.

Squeeze out excess liquid using a clean kitchen towel or cheesecloth.

Add the egg, flour, salt, and pepper to the mixture. Stir well to combine.

Heat a few tablespoons of oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.

Spoon small amounts of the mixture into the pan and flatten slightly with a spatula.

Fry for about 3–4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.

Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
