They’re a delicious, wholesome alternative to regular pancakes, and they can easily be customized to your taste. Let’s get cooking!

Ingredients:

1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour

1 cup oats (old-fashioned or quick oats)

½ cup sugar

1 ½ teaspoons baking powder

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

½ teaspoon baking soda

¼ teaspoon salt

1 egg

1 cup milk

How to Make:

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, oats, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt.

In a separate bowl, crack the egg and whisk in the milk until fully combined.

Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until the batter comes together. Be careful not to overmix – it's okay if the batter is a little lumpy.

Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease with butter or oil.

Pour the batter onto the skillet to form pancakes. Cook until bubbles appear on the surface, then flip and cook the other side until golden brown.

Repeat with the remaining batter.
