How to Thoroughly Clean Your Microwave Without Scrubbing

Cleaning a microwave can seem like a hassle, especially when the glass turntable is stuck and won’t come out easily. But don’t worry, there are a few methods you can try to loosen the turntable and clean it thoroughly without much scrubbing. Here’s how:

How to Clean the Glass Turntable in a Microwave:
Unclogging the Turntable:

Method 1: Warm Soapy Water
Fill a microwave-safe bowl with water and add a few drops of dish soap. Place the bowl in the microwave, and heat it for about 2-3 minutes. The steam will loosen any food debris and make it easier to remove the turntable.
Once the steam settles, carefully try to remove the turntable (using an oven mitt or a cloth if it’s hot). If it’s still stuck, gently wiggle it from side to side to break the seal.

Method 2: Use Vinegar Steam
Fill a microwave-safe bowl with a mixture of 1 cup of water and 2 tablespoons of white vinegar. Microwave for 2-3 minutes, and then leave the door closed for a few minutes to let the steam work its magic. This method helps loosen stuck debris and disinfects the microwave at the same time.
