Slice the French bread in half lengthwise.
In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, and salt.
Brush the garlic butter mixture evenly over the cut sides of the bread.
Place the bread halves on a baking tray, cut side up.
Bake for 10–12 minutes until golden and crisp. For extra crunch, broil for an additional 1–2 minutes.
