Crispy Golden Churros with a Sweet Cinnamon Twist

In a saucepan, combine water, vanilla sugar, granulated sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil.

Remove from heat and stir in flour all at once. Mix quickly until a dough forms and pulls away from the sides.

Let the dough cool slightly, then transfer it into a piping bag fitted with a large star tip.

Heat oil in a deep pan to 180°C (350°F).

Pipe dough strips directly into the hot oil, cutting with scissors. Fry until golden brown, about 2–3 minutes per side.

Remove and drain on paper towels. Roll in cinnamon sugar while still warm.
