The Best Chicken Salad

In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded or diced chicken, mayonnaise, celery, red onion, and parsley.

Add the Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and season with salt and pepper. Stir until well combined.

If desired, fold in almonds or walnuts for added crunch.

Cover the bowl and refrigerate the salad for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Serve chilled on a bed of lettuce, in a wrap, or with your favorite bread.
