Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels.
In a large bowl, toss the wings with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
Make the Sauce:
In a bowl, whisk together hot sauce, honey, melted butter, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes (if using). Set aside.
🔥 Cook the Wings
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) or set up a grill for indirect heat.
Place the wings on a baking sheet lined with a wire rack (or directly on the grill).
Bake or grill for 35–40 minutes, flipping halfway, until crispy and golden (internal temperature should reach 165°F / 74°C).
Remove the wings and toss them in a large bowl with half of the sauce.
Return the wings to the oven or grill for 5–7 minutes to caramelize the sauce.
