Activate the Yeast: In a bowl, combine the water, sugar, and yeast. Stir well and let it sit for about 5-10 minutes, or until the mixture becomes frothy.

Mix Dry Ingredients: In a separate large bowl, mix the flour and salt.

Combine: Pour the yeast mixture and olive oil into the dry ingredients. Stir until combined into a dough.

Rest: Cover the bowl with a damp cloth and let the dough rest for about 30 minutes. There’s no need for kneading or rising for hours – just a short rest.

Shape the Dough: After the resting period, transfer the dough onto a baking sheet or into a loaf pan. Shape it as you like.

Bake: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the bread sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.
