1-2 cups of onion peels (depends on hair length)
2 tablespoons of dried walnut leaves (optional)
2 tablespoons of black tea (optional)
1-2 cups of water
How to Make:
Place the onion peels in a saucepan and add water. Boil for about 20-30 minutes until the water turns deep golden-brown.
Optional: Add dried walnut leaves or black tea to enhance the color and lock it in.
Strain the liquid to remove the peels and leaves, leaving a concentrated dye.
Let the mixture cool to a comfortable temperature.
Apply the onion peel dye to clean, damp hair. Let it sit for 30 minutes to an hour.
Rinse with lukewarm water.
