Jamaican-Inspired Jerk Steak & Shrimp Over Golden Yellow Rice

In a large bowl, mix steak cubes with 1 tablespoon olive oil, jerk seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, lime juice, salt, and pepper. Let marinate for 15–30 minutes.

Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the steak until browned and cooked to your liking. Remove and set aside.

In the same skillet, add shrimp and cook for 2–3 minutes until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.

Add bell peppers to the skillet and sauté for 2 minutes. Pour in chicken broth or water to deglaze the pan and add moisture.

Return steak and shrimp to the skillet, tossing to combine and heat through.

Serve hot over a bed of warm yellow rice.
