Boil Water:
Heat 2 cups of water until hot but not boiling.
Add Ginger:
Add the grated or sliced ginger to the hot water and let it steep for 5-7 minutes.
Mix the Spices:
Stir in 1 teaspoon turmeric and 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Mix well until dissolved.
Add Lemon Juice:
Squeeze the juice of 2 fresh lemons into the mixture.
Optional Sweetener:
Add honey if desired for taste and extra soothing effect.
