Start by grating the ginger using a fine grater or food processor.
In a large pot, bring 6 cups of water to a boil.
Once the water is boiling, add the grated ginger to the pot and let it simmer for 10-15 minutes to allow the ginger to infuse the water.
After simmering, remove the pot from the heat and let it cool down for a few minutes.
Once the water has cooled, strain the ginger pieces from the water.
Add the freshly squeezed juice of 2 lemons into the ginger-infused water.
Stir well and pour the drink into a glass or a pitcher to serve.
