Creamy Banana Pudding Cheesecake: A Southern Dream Dessert

Prepare the crust: Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C). Mix crushed wafers, melted butter, and sugar. Press into the bottom of a springform pan. Bake for 10 minutes, then let cool.

Make the filling: Beat cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar, eggs (one at a time), vanilla, bananas, sour cream, and flour. Mix until creamy.

Bake: Pour filling over the crust. Bake for 50–60 minutes or until the center is nearly set. Turn off oven, crack door, and let cheesecake cool inside for 1 hour.

Chill: Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.

Make the topping: Whisk pudding mix with cold milk until thick. Fold in whipped cream. Spread over chilled cheesecake.

Garnish: Add sliced bananas and vanilla wafers on top just before serving.
