Tender Beef Tips in Creamy Mushroom Gravy

In a large skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat.

Season beef tips with salt and pepper, then coat lightly with flour.

Add beef to the skillet and sear until browned on all sides. Remove and set aside.

In the same skillet, sauté onions and garlic until soft and fragrant.

Add mushrooms and cook until browned and reduced.

Pour in the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and thyme. Stir well.

Return beef to the skillet, bring to a simmer, then reduce heat to low.

Cover and cook for 1.5 to 2 hours, or until the beef is tender.

Optional: For a thicker gravy, stir in cornstarch slurry and cook a few more minutes until thickened.
