Prepare the Natural Descaler:
Pour 1 to 2 cups of white vinegar into the toilet bowl.
Let the vinegar sit for about 5 to 10 minutes to loosen the limescale and mineral deposits.
Add Baking Soda:
After the vinegar has had time to work, add about 1 cup of baking soda directly into the toilet bowl.
Let the mixture sit for an additional 10 to 15 minutes. You will likely notice some fizzing action as the vinegar and baking soda react to the limescale.
Scrub Away the Limescale:
After the mixture has sat for 15 minutes, take a toilet brush and scrub the inside of the toilet bowl, focusing on the areas with limescale buildup.
The combination of vinegar and baking soda works as an abrasive cleaner that will gently scrub away the limescale without scratching your toilet.
Flush and Rinse:
Once you have scrubbed away the limescale, flush the toilet to rinse away the mixture.
For stubborn stains, repeat the process or add a few tablespoons of lemon juice for an extra burst of acidity.
