Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, whisk together mashed bananas, eggs, melted butter, brown sugar, white sugar, and vanilla extract.
In a separate bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
If using nuts or chocolate chips, stir them in gently.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
Bake for 50–60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
