Maple Glazed Cookies – Soft Bites of Autumn Sweetness

Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, cream the butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture.

Roll dough into small balls and place them on the baking sheet, flattening slightly.

Bake for 10–12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden. Let cool completely.

For the glaze, mix powdered sugar, maple syrup, and milk until smooth.

Dip the tops of the cooled cookies or drizzle the glaze over them. Allow to set before serving.
