Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, crushed Ritz crackers, ketchup, and barbecue sauce. Mix well until everything is fully combined.
Form the mixture into a loaf shape and place it in the prepared baking dish.
Bake the meatloaf in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or until it reaches an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
While the meatloaf bakes, prepare the mac and cheese according to the package instructions, using the milk and butter for creaminess.
Once the meatloaf is cooked, remove it from the oven. Spread the mac and cheese over the top of the meatloaf, ensuring it covers evenly.
Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top of the mac and cheese layer.
Return the casserole to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Remove from the oven and allow it to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
