An Ingenious Method to Clean Your Oven Overnight

Prepare the Baking Soda Paste: In a small bowl, mix 1/2 cup of baking soda with a few tablespoons of water to create a thick paste. You may need to adjust the water depending on the consistency you prefer.

Apply the Paste: Spread the baking soda paste generously over the interior surfaces of your oven, focusing on areas with heavy buildup. Avoid applying the paste directly to heating elements or exposed wires.

Let it Sit Overnight: Leave the paste to sit in the oven overnight. The baking soda will work to break down grease and grime, making it much easier to clean.

Prepare the Vinegar Solution: The next morning, fill a spray bottle with white vinegar. Spray the vinegar over the areas where you applied the baking soda paste. You’ll notice a fizzy reaction – this helps to loosen the debris.

Wipe Clean: After the fizzing subsides, use a damp cloth or sponge to wipe away the paste and grime. For tough spots, you may need to scrub a little, but the bulk of the work will already be done.

Final Touch: If necessary, repeat the process on any remaining stubborn spots, and finish by wiping the entire oven with a clean, dry cloth to remove any residue.
