Peel the bananas and slice them into small rounds. If you’re using fresh strawberries, hull and chop them into smaller pieces.
Blend:
Place the banana slices and strawberries in a blender or food processor. Add vanilla extract and maple syrup (if desired). Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping the sides of the blender if needed.
Freeze:
Transfer the mixture into a shallow container, smoothing it out evenly. Place it in the freezer for about 4 hours or until it firms up to a scoopable consistency.
Serve:
Once ready, scoop out the ice cream and serve immediately. You can also add some fresh fruit or nuts on top for added texture.
