Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain the pasta and set aside.

Prepare the Shrimp:

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they turn pink and are cooked through. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set them aside.

Make the Tomato Sauce:

In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and cook for 2-3 minutes, until softened. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in the crushed tomatoes and white wine (if using). Stir to combine and let it simmer for about 10 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken. Season with red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and pepper to taste.

Combine the Shrimp and Pasta:

Add the cooked shrimp back into the skillet and toss to coat in the tomato sauce. Then, add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and gently toss everything together to combine.

Serve:

Plate the spaghetti and garnish with fresh basil, parsley, and grated Parmesan cheese. Serve immediately and enjoy!
