Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
Cook the Garlic:
In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant (do not burn).
Add Brown Sugar:
Stir in the brown sugar and soy sauce. Mix until the sugar dissolves and a thick glaze forms.
Cook the Chicken:
Add the seasoned chicken to the pan. Cook for 5–7 minutes per side, or until golden and fully cooked through (internal temperature should be 165°F / 74°C). Spoon the glaze over the chicken as it cooks.
Finish and Serve:
Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley if desired. Serve hot with your favorite sides.
