Rustic Apple Bake with Minimal Sugar & Flour

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a medium baking dish.

In a large bowl, combine the sliced apples, lemon juice, sugar or honey, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Toss well.

Sprinkle in the flour and mix until the apples are lightly coated.

Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and drizzle the melted butter or coconut oil over the top.

Bake for 35–40 minutes until the apples are soft and bubbling and the top is lightly golden.

Serve warm as-is or with a spoonful of yogurt, ice cream, or whipped cream.
