Fiery Smoked Habanero Hot Sauce with a Tangy Twist

Heat olive oil in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic. Cook until fragrant and soft, about 3–4 minutes.

Add Peppers and Spices:
Stir in the chopped habanero peppers, smoked paprika, and salt. Cook for another 2 minutes, stirring frequently.

Deglaze and Simmer:
Pour in the apple cider vinegar and lime juice. Bring to a gentle simmer and cook for 5 minutes to allow flavors to blend.

Blend Until Smooth:
Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Transfer the mixture to a blender or use an immersion blender to puree until smooth. Add a bit of water if the sauce is too thick.

Bottle and Store:
Pour the sauce into a clean glass jar or bottle. Seal tightly and refrigerate. Shake before each use.
