Crispy Potato Pancakes

Grate the potatoes and then squeeze out any excess water using a clean cloth or paper towels.

Mix the Ingredients:
In a bowl, combine the grated potatoes with the egg, salt, pepper, and flour. Mix well until everything is evenly combined.

Heat the Pan:
Heat a pan (28 cm / 11 inches) over medium heat and add olive oil.

Form the Pancakes:
Once the oil is hot, spoon the potato mixture into the pan, spreading it evenly to form pancakes.

Cook the Pancakes:
Fry the pancakes for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and crispy.

Serve:
Once the pancakes are done, serve them hot. They can be enjoyed on their own or with a dipping sauce.
