Soft Apple Delight Cake – Tender Inside, Golden Outside

Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a round cake pan.

In a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs with sugar until light and frothy.

Add oil and milk, and mix until combined.

Stir in the lemon or orange zest for a fresh aroma.

Gradually add the flour and baking powder, mixing until smooth and lump-free.

Fold in the diced apples.

Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the surface.

Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Let the cake cool, then dust with powdered sugar if desired.
