Universal Pickling Brine
Boil water and let it cool.

For every 1 liter of water, add:

4 tablespoons salt

½ cup vinegar (white or apple cider)

🥬 1. Pickled Turnip
Ingredients:

Turnip

Beetroot (for color)

Bay leaves

Prepared pickling water

How to Make:

Wash and cut the turnips as desired.

Place in a colander, sprinkle with salt, and let sit for 2 hours to release water.

Place in a jar with beetroot slices and bay leaves.

Pour the brine over the turnips, seal the jar.

Ready to eat after 5 days.
