Check the Label: Ensure your pillow is machine washable (most synthetic and some feather/down pillows are).

Remove Pillowcases: Take off covers or protectors.

Load Evenly: Wash two pillows at a time to balance the load in a top-loading machine.

Create the Whitening Mix: In a container, mix baking soda, hydrogen peroxide, detergent, vinegar, and a little dish soap.

Set the Washer: Choose a hot water cycle with an extra rinse if available. Pour the whitening mix into the detergent slot or directly into the drum.

Start the Wash: Run a full cycle.

Rinse and Spin Again: If necessary, run an extra rinse/spin cycle to remove all residues.

Drying: Place pillows in the dryer with tennis or dryer balls. Use low heat and dry thoroughly. Shake and fluff between cycles to maintain shape.
