1–2 hearts of romaine lettuce, chopped

1 can (15.25 oz / 430 g) black beans, rinsed and drained

2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved

1/2 red onion, finely diced

1 avocado, diced (optional)

1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

Juice of 1 lime

2 tablespoons olive oil

Salt and black pepper to taste
