Creamy Squares

Crush the digestive biscuits into fine crumbs. You can use a food processor or place the biscuits in a sealed bag and crush them with a rolling pin.

Make the Pudding:
In a medium saucepan, combine the milk, sugar, and cornstarch. Heat over medium heat while stirring constantly until the mixture begins to thicken and become creamy. Once thickened, remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and butter. Allow it to cool slightly.

Assemble the Squares:
In a rectangular baking dish, spread a layer of crushed biscuits. Pour half of the pudding mixture over the biscuit layer and spread it evenly. Add another layer of crushed biscuits and top it with the remaining pudding.

Chill:
Refrigerate the squares for at least 2-3 hours or until set and firm.

Serve:
Before serving, you can top the creamy squares with a dollop of whipped cream for extra indulgence.
