Chocolate Tart with Velvety Dark Chocolate Cream Filling

In a saucepan, whisk together the egg yolk, milk, and sugar. Heat over medium-low heat, whisking constantly, until the mixture thickens and reaches a custard-like consistency.

Remove from heat and immediately stir in the chopped dark chocolate and vanilla extract. Continue stirring until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture is smooth.

Pour the chocolate cream filling into the prepared tart shell (pre-baked and cooled) and smooth the top with a spatula.

Refrigerate the tart for at least 2-3 hours or until the filling has set.

Once set, slice and serve. Enjoy your delicious chocolate tart!
