Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and lightly grease a baking dish.
Mash the boiled potatoes in a large bowl until smooth.
Add the egg, a pinch of nutmeg, salt, and pepper, and mix well.
Stir in half of the mozzarella and the chopped salami.
Shape the mixture into balls or patties and place them in the baking dish.
Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella on top and drizzle with a little olive oil.
Bake for 20–25 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
Let cool slightly before serving.
