Mix ½ cup baking soda with a few tablespoons of water to form a spreadable paste. Apply to the inside of the oven and let sit overnight. Wipe clean the next day.
2. Vinegar Spray:
Spray vinegar over the baking soda residue to activate fizzing. This lifts grease and loosens stubborn stains.
3. Lemon Steam Clean:
Place lemon slices in a bowl of water and heat in the oven at 250°F (120°C) for 30 minutes. The steam softens grime and freshens the smell.
4. Salt + Baking Soda Scrub:
Mix equal parts salt and baking soda. Use a damp sponge to scrub tough areas.
5. Dish Soap Degreaser:
Mix dish soap with hot water and scrub grease on glass doors or racks.
6. Razor Blade Scraper (Carefully):
Gently use a blade to scrape away baked-on residue (only on glass, not enamel).
7. Remove & Soak Racks:
Take out the oven racks and soak them in hot soapy water for an hour. Scrub and rinse well.
8. Clean After Every Use:
Wipe small spills right after cooking to prevent buildup and make future cleaning easier.
