Homemade Chocolate Cream: A Foolproof Classic

In a saucepan, whisk together sugar, cocoa powder, cornstarch, and salt.

Gradually add milk while whisking to avoid lumps.

Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens (about 8–10 minutes).

Remove from heat, add chopped dark chocolate and vanilla. Stir until smooth and fully melted.

Pour into bowls or jars. Let cool slightly, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
