1 liter (4 cups) of water
1–2 inches of fresh ginger root, sliced or grated
Juice of 1/2 lemon (optional)
1 tsp raw honey (optional)
How to Make:
In a pot, bring the water to a boil.
Add the sliced or grated ginger.
Lower the heat and simmer for 10–15 minutes.
Remove from heat, strain, and let it cool slightly.
Add lemon juice or honey if desired.
Drink warm in the morning or sip throughout the day.
