Garlic Beef Fried Rice: A Flavorful One-Pan Meal

Marinate the Beef:
In a bowl, combine beef cubes with soy sauce, cornstarch, sesame oil, and pepper. Mix well and let sit for 10–15 minutes.

Cook the Beef:
Heat 1 tbsp oil in a large pan or wok over high heat. Add the beef and stir-fry until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

Stir-Fry the Rice:
In the same pan, add another 1 tbsp oil. Sauté the garlic until fragrant (about 30 seconds). Add the rice and stir-fry until heated through.

Combine and Flavor:
Push the rice to the side, add the egg (if using), scramble, then mix into the rice. Return the beef to the pan, add soy sauce and oyster sauce, and toss everything together.

Finish and Serve:
Stir in scallions if desired. Serve hot as a main dish or side.
