DIY Liquid Soap from a Bar – Simple, Sustainable & Budget-Friendly

Grate or Chop the Soap:
Use a grater or knife to shred the soap into fine flakes for quicker melting.

Boil the Water:
In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.

Dissolve the Soap:
Lower the heat to a simmer and stir in the soap flakes until fully dissolved.

Cool and Thicken:
Remove from heat and let it cool. Stir occasionally. It will thicken as it cools.

Customize (Optional):
Add essential oils for fragrance or skin benefits.

Transfer and Store:
Pour the cooled soap into a clean container or bottle with a pump top.
