In a large bowl, combine yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, ginger, and all the spices. Mix well.
Marinate the Chicken:
Add the chicken pieces to the marinade and mix to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
Assemble the Kebabs:
Thread the marinated chicken onto skewers. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes beforehand.
Cook the Kebabs:
Grill: Preheat grill to medium-high. Grill skewers 4–5 minutes per side until fully cooked and slightly charred.
Oven: Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F). Place skewers on a baking tray and bake for 20–25 minutes, turning halfway. Optionally, broil for 2–3 minutes for a charred finish.
Serve:
Serve hot with lemon wedges, fresh herbs, naan or rice.
