Ingredients
For the Cutlets:
500 g (1.1 lbs) minced meat (beef or beef-pork mix)
1 large onion, finely chopped
1 bunch of fresh parsley, chopped
1 egg
Salt and pepper, to taste
100 g (3.5 oz) cheese, cut into small cubes (for stuffing – optional)
2 tbsp breadcrumbs (optional, for firmer texture)
Oil, for frying
For the Mashed Potatoes:
1 kg (2.2 lbs) potatoes, peeled and chopped
50 g (3.5 tbsp) butter
100 ml (1/2 cup) milk (or more, to desired consistency)
Salt and pepper, to taste
