Grandma’s Country-Style Pasta with Juicy Meatballs

Mix all meatball ingredients in a bowl until well combined. Form into small balls (about the size of a walnut). Set aside.

Sauté the Vegetables:
Heat olive oil in a large pan. Sauté the chopped onion, grated carrot, and garlic until soft and aromatic.

Cook the Meatballs:
Add the meatballs to the pan and brown them on all sides for about 5–6 minutes.

Add the Sauce:
Stir in the diced tomatoes (and tomato paste if using). Simmer on low for 10–15 minutes, allowing flavors to meld and meatballs to cook through.

Boil the Pasta:
Cook the pasta in salted water according to package instructions. Drain and add to the pan with the sauce.

Mix and Serve:
Gently stir everything together. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired. Serve hot and enjoy!
