Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
Clean mushrooms and remove stems. Set caps aside and finely chop the stems.
Sauté chopped stems with garlic in olive oil for 3–4 minutes until soft.
Mix the sautéed garlic mixture with cream cheese, Parmesan, parsley, salt, and pepper.
Fill each mushroom cap with the mixture. Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top if using.
Bake for 15–20 minutes until mushrooms are tender and tops are golden.
Serve warm, garnished with extra parsley.
