Ingredients
1 cup granulated sugar

4 tablespoons water

½ cup heavy cream

2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract

¼ teaspoon fine sea salt (or to taste)

1 cup (225g) unsalted butter, softened

1½ to 2 cups powdered sugar (sifted)
