Ensure the iron is unplugged and completely cool before starting.

2. Clean the Soleplate
Mix 2 tablespoons baking soda with 1 tablespoon water to form a paste.

Gently rub the paste on the soleplate with a cloth or toothbrush, avoiding steam holes.

Wipe clean with a damp cloth.

3. Clear the Steam Holes
Use a toothpick or cotton swab dipped in vinegar to clean out each steam hole.

This removes mineral buildup that causes sputtering.

4. Clean the Water Tank
Fill the reservoir with a 1:1 mix of vinegar and distilled water.

Turn the iron on, set to steam, and let it run for 5–10 minutes over an old towel.

Empty the tank and rinse it with clean distilled water.

5. Polish the Surface
Once the iron is cool again, wipe the outside casing with a microfiber cloth dampened with water or vinegar.
