Golden Cheesy Cabbage & Potato Bake: A Comforting Family Favorite

1️⃣ Pre-cook the Vegetables:
Boil potatoes in salted water for 10–12 minutes or until tender. Drain and set aside.
In another pot, cook cabbage in boiling water for 5–6 minutes until softened. Drain well.

2️⃣ Sauté the Onion:
In a large skillet, melt butter and sauté onion until translucent, about 5 minutes.

3️⃣ Combine & Layer:
In a large baking dish, combine cabbage, potatoes, and sautéed onion. Season with salt, pepper, and optional spices. Pour milk or cream over the mixture.

4️⃣ Add Cheese & Bake:
Sprinkle cheese evenly on top. Bake at 190°C (375°F) for 25–30 minutes, or until golden and bubbly on top.
