Wash the lemon and slice it into wedges. Peel and thinly slice the ginger.
Boil Water
In a small pot, bring water to a boil.
Add Lemon & Ginger
Add the lemon slices and ginger to the boiling water. Lower heat and simmer for 10–15 minutes.
Strain & Serve
Remove from heat, strain the liquid, and pour into your cup. Add honey or mint if desired.
Enjoy Hot or Cold
Drink warm in the morning or chill with ice for a refreshing detox beverage.
