Creamy Ground Beef & Mushroom Skillet

Brown the Beef: In a large skillet, heat ½ tbsp oil or butter over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned. Remove from pan and set aside.

Sauté Veggies: In the same skillet, add the remaining oil or butter. Sauté the chopped onion and garlic for 2–3 minutes until fragrant.

Cook Mushrooms: Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until they release their moisture and become golden.

Add Butter and Flour: Stir in 1 tbsp butter and sprinkle over the flour. Cook for 1 minute while stirring.

Make the Sauce: Slowly pour in the beef broth, stirring to prevent lumps. Add cream and season with salt and pepper. Let simmer until thickened (5–7 minutes).

Combine: Return the browned beef to the pan. Stir to combine and heat through.

Serve: Sprinkle with parsley and serve with mashed potatoes, pasta, or rice.
