Citrus Bloom in a Cup – How to Grow a Lemon Plant That Freshens Your Home Naturally

Cut the lemon and extract several seeds. Rinse them well to remove all pulp. For better results, soak them in warm water for 1–2 hours.

Plant the Seeds:
Fill the cup with moist potting soil. Plant 2–3 seeds about 1.5 cm (½ inch) deep. Lightly press the soil over them.

Create a Mini Greenhouse:
Cover the cup with plastic wrap or a transparent lid to create humidity. Poke a few holes for air circulation.

Let It Grow:
Place the cup in a warm, sunny location — ideally near a window with lots of indirect light. Keep the soil moist but not soggy.

Watch It Sprout:
In 2–3 weeks, you’ll see tiny lemon sprouts emerging. Once the sprouts are strong, you can remove the plastic and continue caring for your plant.

Enjoy the Aroma:
As your lemon plant grows, it releases a light, citrusy aroma that freshens your space naturally.
