Remove the labels and clean the bottles thoroughly. Let them dry.
Cut the Bottles:
Cut off the bottom part of each bottle. Then, cut thin vertical strips up the sides, stopping about 2 inches from the bottle neck. These strips will form the "bristles" of the broom.
Stack the Bottles:
Stack two or three prepared bottles together, aligning their necks. This makes the broom head thicker and stronger.
Secure the Bottles:
Tie the bottle necks tightly together with string or wire. Make sure they are firmly fixed so the broom will be durable.
Attach the Stick:
Insert the stick or broom handle into the grouped bottle necks. Use strong string, wire, nails, or hot glue to fix it securely.
Finish and Test:
Trim the bristles if necessary to even them out, and your PET bottle broom is ready to use!
