Peel the ginger root and slice it thinly to release more of its natural oils and flavors.
Boil the Water:
Bring 1 liter of water to a boil in a pot.
Add the Ginger:
Once the water is boiling, add the ginger slices. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 10–15 minutes.
Strain and Cool:
