Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If you have a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat up for an extra crispy crust.

2. Prepare the Dough:
Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to your desired thickness. For a classic thin crust, stretch it thinner; for a chewier base, keep it a bit thicker.

Transfer the dough onto a parchment paper-lined baking sheet or a pizza peel if using a stone.

3. Assemble the Pizza:
Lightly brush the surface of the dough with olive oil to help achieve a golden, crispy crust.

Spread the pizza sauce evenly across the dough, leaving a small border around the edges for the crust.

Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese generously over the sauce.

Evenly distribute the sliced pepperoni on top of the cheese.

4. Bake:
Slide the pizza into the hot oven (onto the pizza stone if using) and bake for 10–13 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.

5. Garnish and Serve:
Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a minute.

Garnish with fresh basil leaves for a pop of color and extra flavor.

Slice into wedges and serve hot!
